Cool Morning

Monday morning again. It’s a cold one, and hunger brought this little critter out, foraging for seeds.

Red squirrels, blacks and greys too, frequent our garden. They are not particularly welcome, due to the damage they cause to our flower beds, bushes and crawl space. However, I have to admit their antics can be entertaining.

They run up and down the trees at such speed that I have difficulty keeping up with them. I envy them their agility, and with wildlife being scarce now that the birds have flown to warmer climes, I am thankful for their presence.

Squirrel-proof. That’s a laugh.

Whatever your day brings you, I hope that you will savor every moment, and be thankful for all that you have.
